We put our money in to companies in order for the management of that company to make our investment grow. If the deal goes through the SP will increase, so by voting no you are voting against an increase in your investment. The question you have to ask yourself is where do you think New Oban will be in 2 or 3 years time? If you don't have faith in the management, sell and put the cash in a bank account.
