Logic-The world your espousing/envisioning would be akin to the movie with Denzil Washington where he played the blind warrior protecting the last copy of the bible where the high end weapon would be a cross bow all over again and living in a remote parcel of land wouldn't secure more than a fortnight longer safe existence...the Apoclypse crowd somewhat intrigue me but from a position of sarcasm cuz they can't see the greater good in mankind only its downfall...and by that I mean the gold and silver site pundits and bugs that been calling about the downfall of modern civilization and those hoarding bullion and silver and gems etc etc as being real currency.
Won't matter in the scenaio your "vision" and every other fatalist from evangilist Van Impre to the cultish group the Illimunate preach about[-where you will want to be in the scenario is a unknown cave in the side of a grantite mountain with an underground fresh water supply and unknown access but with exposure to sunlight and a few years supply of canned goods and antibiotic meds to ride things out and a three supply of butt wipe...preferably two ply and Charmin by brand lol.
Every generation has its doomsdayers-we survived having George Bush Jr at the helm and Putin flexing Russia's muscles-next conflict will be to control China's continuned military expansion as the US goes the way of Britain into an also ran-where it once had its heyday-and the next war will be over natural resources mainly energy and water or water and energy vs ideology altho it will be once again disguised as such and wrapped in the flag of nationalism of we vs they.
Money is not the root of all evil...it is the covet or worship of money that is such-what money creates is opportunity and choice-those that have it have the greater abundance of either compared to those that do not but happiness is an internal state but still externally influenced...I believe we will see our way thru any and all crisis thru technological change that make the world able to be seen as one in instant communication mode 24/7 where borders are transcended...will there be evil...sure...but it presents more in ideology than in manpower-for it is near impossible to stop an idea less you kill out its origins and even that is not guaranteed.
If there is a world wide banking meltdown-the movie the Purge combined with the classic Clockwork Orange will come to mind and governments worldwide will put armed troops even in demcracies the world over to maintain orde-and fire on its own citizens if need be...why do you think the NRA are so bizarre in their outlook-for they to been fearing the end of times since they joined modern time with their lobbyist movement and where has that gun toting rhetoric got the USofA but the mas murder capital of the world?
You can have that world if you want it-and take all the silver you can find-Me-I'll be leading the small army looking for your place in the remote access to find your canned Klik Ham lol.
