RE:New Lows in WTI & Gas under serious pressureYes I do agree with your comments, my analysis, as an Albertan, is
actually just as depressing BUT KCK is all over the HUGE Montney
gas fields, so they have to be worth something.
Our big problems are the vast & numerous conventional Gas Fields in Alberta,
Encana, Husky, CNQ, etc .. All of this gas has become extremely compromised
because the production volumes are so low. Now 500+ wells can be replaced with
one Marcelus or Monteney well ! This means 1000's of wells are uneconomic, so 100's (1,000's)
of people will lose their jobs in rural Alberta & Sask, these wells will have to be abandoned at
a cost of $100,000 per well which Albertan's will have to pay for considering the O&G companies
are essentially bankrupt. Imagine the Bond Holders (Canadian Banks & CPP) taking over SGL in southern Alberta & receiving 10's of millions in liabilities as well as writing off the 100's of million in debt.
KCK, if it can survive, is in the right place.
