A patient is sick in the hospital with a serious life threatening disease, waiting for the doctor to provide a clear diagnosis and treatment.  The patient expresses his anxiety about his prognosis, treatment and whether he has a future.  The doctor calmly says to him 'why the anxiety! relax! Look at all the tests we've done!.  The patient says 'yes, but you told me I only had so long to live....what happened to the treatment you said would be given by the end of 2014?  The doctor remains silent.  Later the doctor drops by to say 'Good news, there are new treatments coming in the future!  The patient says 'yes, but you told me that before and I still haven't received anything...what does my future hold?'  The doctor remains silent.  Later, the doctor drops and says 'good news, we are working on a new treatment plan for you!  The patient is mystified and says  Ok, what treatment and when can I expect it....I have limited time!  The doctor remains silent.  Later the doctor drops and says 'we don't have the funds to provide your treatment... so we'll have to sell some of your organs to raise some cash!  The patient cries and says 'but you sold some of organs 2 years ago to raise cash and I am still no better!'.  The doctor remains silent.  Then the nurse somes in and says 'I believe in you and I have made you a top patient pick!   The patient says,'yes but I was a top patient pick last year, and I am now worse'.   The nurse remains silent.   The doctor and nurse then go for lunch  and tweet about the patient's treatment.
