You're entitled to your opinion and I'm genuinely interested in the perspective of a former shareholder who is potentially more objective. Obviously I'm also interested having been personally lumped in with all of the problems associated with the company.
I just think it would have been a better observation if you had something between the first two paragraphs. It reads like nothing has happened since 2011.
Just today we were told that POET will be transferred to a fab capable of making VCSELs on 6" wafers. I agree that revenue will occur in 2016, far later than the hints from the company that late 2014 would be our year. But to me this is not a serious problem because all we need is the promise of revenue. A deal of some kind will make all the difference for the SP (multiple deals are possible and obviously better) and if the money doesn't materialize until several quarters pass the market won't hold it against us.
