Ranting Bull, shutupHow do you know how government or its agencies works? Were you an employee of one.?
I briefly worked for the government, then went back to the private sector on a better offer. I was impressed with the diligence of my government department.
As it happens, my department got downsized and many of its functions sold/ turned over to the private sector to run. Hah! What a stunningly bad job the private sector did. As it involved capital works projects it was mind boggling and amazing how incompetent. One of their projects cost 3 x,s anything ever expended by the gov. for something similar. It was a pork fest.
We have certain functions operated by the government sector to prevent collusion, incompetence, unethical behavior and porking out the profit by skimming. fraud, insider trading manipulation etc etc.etc. Havent we seen all that a thousand times before. So it takes time to get a drrug approved. With TST there is no indication that the delays have all been on our side.
It doesn't mean gov isn't working diligently. How often has fast reviews caused a health disaster. Think thalidomide.
Government agencies are usually forced to work to a higher standard. This doesn't always happen but I doubt the FDA is all that incompetent.
