RE:Morrison bought a ton of stock.At the peak of the stock market crash in 1929, Richard Whitney walked into Wall Street and bought a bunch of stock at ridiculously high prices. It wasn't because he believed in the stocks.  He just wanted to temporarily bump up the prices so that the banks could dump profitably. Don't take anything at face value.
