i think its a little early in the game to talk about "a failed business model". The company has only been in business for a few months and has the cash resources to continue for quite some time yet.

You mention the use of the PE ratio, a useful metric but not always sufficient. For years, I have been mystified by Amazon's lofty PE ratio. At the same time Apple was being valued at 15 times earnings, AMZN was enjoying PEs of between 200 and 500! It made no sense to me and still doesn't but that company left a pile of dead shorts in its wake.

the debate of gold vs the dollar continues. The Fed decision due out this afternoon is but another footnote in that ongoing saga.
