RE:RE:RE:Oiltar, you are back !Interestingly enough, I seem to recall lots of posts around the April time frame speculating about a possible take over. I also remember some pretty pointed statments made by some about it was all hear say and that if there really was an offer that management would have advised its shareholders.
Some of this has a distinct odour to it (not unlike sulpher in bitumen)...frankly, all I really hope for is the value of COS's holdings (of which we have all discussed regarding the proven reserves) are recognized and we get back to some semblance of sanity.
Actually, a SU buyout (at close to .5 share) is the preferred option for me. I wish to remain with Syncrude...and doing so under a better managed company with a strong balance sheet certainly is a comfortable place to be while we await WTI to return to 60 to 70.
