The only caveat I have is that XAU is the rival of the banks/Fed. I would suspect that the shorts (and any naked shorts put on) are implemented from the U.S. via hedge funds/circuitous routes through the TSX. My guess is that this will end when gold can no longer be controlled by Comex/London. Since there is no honour amongst thieves greed will rule the day and many will turn to gold ... over and above all those now privately positioned ... and utilizing private storage facilities.
