What has lit a fire under ECI this morning?
Not sure if I need to bring this to the attention of this board, but yesterday over 600,000 shares traded. Avg is about 200,000. In the first hour of trading today, 200,000 shares have already traded. Strike that, over 270,000 shares.
I agree that it is undervalued, but only because I own it :-) Dividend yield is a pretty poor way to value any company. It is notoriously unreliable and actually inversely related to future performance (ie. a high yield typically indicates poor stock performance due to a falling price). I'm not suggesting that for Enercare as their business, by all accounts, is doing quite well and is improving = business momentum. Maybe you have another metric besides dividend yield that suggests it is undervalued? If their yield goes up, it is more likely related to them upping their dividend but it is high enough right now, imo. Better to reinvest in the business and pay down debt.
Oh yeah, stop selling!!!! A big non-retail buyer wants your shares. Make them pay up. I am betting they are willing. Stock movement would support that. Just be patient.
