if the insiders bought into the new placement in size, then dont you think they prefer to buy at lower prices rather than higher prices? Thus, their incentive to price the deal lower (having bought into it) seems to be in their bet interests. I am not saying that is a fact, just an observation.And the new buyers who obviously knew the deal was coming (since they financed it) had a great inside opportunity to sell their positions or short sell the stock down to the new deal price of 12, and even sell some of their deal stock maybe and keep the warrants for free. Nice to be an insider, isnt it?
