BitGold is not a charity

BitGold is not a charityI'm hoping Grandpa B will chime in here, but in the meantime....

I understand the frustrations with the Golden Heart program, guys, in particular the perceived confiscation of gold for referring inactive (i.e., deadbeat) accounts. A much better way to handle it would have been to withhold the reward until after new signups become active to a level that warrants a "kickback", and taking gold back is IMO a definite FAIL by management.

OTOH, I have read RIGHT HERE ON THIS BOARD ways that the program can be scammed for free gold, and you can't expect the company to reward people for making referrals that ultimately cost the company money with little or nothing given in return. Frankly, I had problems with the whole "free gold" program from the start and I am hoping they will just eliminate it soon in order to avoid these kinds of issues.

In the meantime, let's give management a break. They are trying different things to get the word out, some will work and some will not. And yes, some will be badly managed or changed or withdrawn midstream, which might ultimately cost the company some support.

I suggest you let management know of your concerns. So far they have been extremely responsive to the problems I've had with my card, which I think in the long run is a much more worrisome problem than people getting upset because they didn't get all the free gold they expected.
