Everything seems right if you had been following this saga over the years. IDC always lost money on their hardware sales. They were buoyed up each quarter to a little above or below the financial break-even point by their lucrative 14 year old Canadian military service contract (2000-2014). When that was not renewed it spelled the beginning of the end for them. Cutting costs and selling off assets bought some time but time moves forward and eventually runs out.
