RE:Fidelity is the only investor that matters

RE:Fidelity is the only investor that mattersBlueHorsehoe13: Having worked at Fidelity for 10 years, believe me you do not want them as an investor in your company.  First, it is just a flea in the billions of dollars invested and even if the stock went up 10x, it would not matter in terms of portfolio performance.  Second, and more critical, is the fact that the fund managers are very trigger happy and are not real long-term investors.   First sign of trouble and a million shares will hit the market on the bid side.   Thirdly, fund manager turnover is quite frequent and when a new guy takes over a fund and doesn't know the stock, out it goes.  I could go on and on, but the conclusion is that having Fidelity as a shareholder is more of a negative than positive, espeically in microcap stocks.
