I thought it was very interesting that Goldcorp (as well as Teck) met with EXS at PDAC. Could Goldcorp have been asking about Eastford Lake or some other EXS gold property? Sure. But logic says Goldcorp must already have its eye on the Ogden property that borders both TPW and MEK's ground that is JV'd with Goldcorp. Coming out of PDAC, CD immediately switched gears from imminent drilling at Kidd Creek to commencing drilling at Ogden. I believe CD recently told someone on this board that they were not yet "comfortable" with all their drill targets at KC, but my guess is that CD was probably not in a position to reveal the real reason for jumping Ogden to the top of the list . . . that with Tahoe merging with LSG and Teck holding onto their drill results at TPW, TPW is about to be in play, and potential suitors are already calling about Ogden. With interest in Ogden, CD now wants to push that project forward ASAP so as to bag another JV deal. We may eventually see TPW and Ogden sold separately, or as a package. Too early to tell, too many variables. But it is not to early to tell that the big boys are starting to move into Timmins West in a big way. This is fast shaping up to be the area play of the decade.
