RE:RE:Andrew McCreathBig time sunshine7! What smart investors need to do is analyse base on fundamentals but take positions based on cycles.
Most of the cycles these days are sector wide and manipulated by short sellers, big money, Algo trading, ATS and HFT. Every investor should get familiar with what these are!
You can't self invest without understanding the rules of the game. Short seller manipulation is here and very strong. Pro bashing of the CXR bullboard is totally obvious. We've seen these teams all over the place.
Best thing to do on a stock like CXR is look for the patterns and buy at the lows when the blood is maxed out. The beauty about short sellers is they either have to kill the company or buy share to cover. Killing a large cap is not easy. And Concordia with its very large portfolio of drugs can't easily be killed.
What the CEO and management team needs to do is:
1. Start insider buying - the missing ingredient here!
2. Start putting up investor material for the masses (both retail and institutional investors).
Until that time, "smart retail" has to replace "dumb retail". If you aren't "smart retail" give your money to the hordes of market guys (many here) that will charge you 3% to manage it.
You can't self-invest without putting in the time. Simple as that!
Oh and don't follow anyone unless you know them personally, this bullboard is full of clown and so is the TV and print media.
Everyone is in this game for themselves.

Although some here have said that shorts cannot manipulate or drive stocks lower, it is apparent that the can and they do. When market makers can drive value in the direction of their choice, IMO that is a market not based on value, and is skewed in the favour of big money.
