It owns a portfolio of hotels and net lease service and necessity-based retail properties. The Company owns over 221 hotels with approximately 37,000 rooms or suites located in over 36 states, in the District of Columbia, Ontario, Canada and San Juan, Puerto Rico. It owns approximately 752 service-oriented retail properties with over 13.3 million square feet located in approximately 42 states. The Company’s net lease portfolio is occupied by over 175 tenants, which is operating approximately 137 brands in over 21 industries. The Company's net lease portfolio is leased to tenants that include travel centers, quick service and casual dining restaurants, movie theaters, health and fitness centers, grocery stores, automotive parts and services and other businesses in service-oriented and necessity-based industries.

RE:RE:Concerns started when they received grants from government..Can't dispute any of your points.  We tend to ignore the macro impact on SVC.  Yesterday the market tanked and so did SVC because it is still viewed as a high risk company by many investors and they bail when the market falls.  I also believe the big money has little confidence in current upper management.  It has been posted here many times that SVC is two companies, the one that is doing everything well, and the other that can't communicate that message to the stock market.  I think it is time for a change at the top.  At least put someone in the communication postion (CEO) who can put a 10 word sentence together without saying "ah" 25 times.  I am pulling for David Caputo to succeed, but he's had 15 years at the helm.  Perhaps it is time for him to focus on running the business and let a market-savy communicator take over the "face and voice" of the company role.
