RE:RE:RE:Planet Exploration has JV with Goldcorp & 1.2 mil Oz's Gold
Dellsvigor,

It might actually surprise you at how "uninvolved" Goldcorp Red Lake Mines is with their JV partners, and for that matter, any regional exploration, in the Red Lake Greenstone Belt.  All of Goldcorp's focus in Red Lake is on mine production, bringing the Bruce Channel deposit (Cochenour) into production and expanding the HG Young discovery beside Campbell Mine.  Any current JV's in the Red Lake area are legacy from a different era of Goldcorp Red Lake Mines.  Nothing grabs Goldcorp's interest until there are resource/reserves of a few million ounces, they don't even bat an eye at anything less.

Hopefully RLG can expand their deposit to the point where Goldcorp starts paying attention again.  But PXI is not working to grow their resource, so I don't expect they will ever get to that point.

Perhaps Goldcorp could also shift some focus back into regional exploration...I suppose they could, in theory, turn it back on just as fast as they shut it off.
