Katusa/Casey/Rule next pick?Did some DD and I found some interesting information on GUM - Gold Mountain Mining.
- Go on SEDAR and look at the news release dated July 7, 2016 for GUM. Looks like KCR, LLC aquired 20 million shares, bringing KCR's total holdings to 30.2 million shares or 43.8% of the issued and outstanding common shares.
- Search online for KCR Fund and you will find many articles referencing the KCR fund as being Katusa, Casey, Rule hence the KCR.
- In one of Katusa's most recent videos on BRI he mentions a recent cheque he wrote to BRI for $1 million, he bought $2 million worth of shares in GUM last week according to SEDAR so myself and a few other smart people in the know took positions as Katusa is one of the brightest in the game.
- Marin often says he invests in good people - Search Jim O'Rourke and Katusa and you will find Katusa speaking of his work ethic and how he helped teach Katusa. Jim is the director and CEO at Copper Mountain, Katusa is also director at Copper Mountain. In addition, Jim O'Rourke is a director at Gold Mountain (GUM).
- Another interesting fact is if you search the internet for Katusa and 5 year warrant you'll find many articles where he mentions he goes for deals with 5 year warrants. I find this fascinating as he acquired these shares in a private transaction so I doubt his fund received warrants on the deal.
