RE:RE:Whatever happened to that Apollo bid?

RE:RE:Whatever happened to that Apollo bid? Could you please explain the math of a buyout? After the company overpaid and overleveraged for their portfolio they wrote off a half billion in assets the debt is still outstanding for. Keep in mind they reduced ebitda guidance and debt to ebitda guidance rose almost 30% from what was originally stated if i remember correctly. Its also looking like competition and pricing pressure should reduce cashflow even more. I don't see how another company would even make bondholders whole, let alone pay anything to shareholders. Why not just wait for the firesale on assets at this point, just have to wait a few quarters for a hiccup which is bound to happen. When you jack the prices of old drugs, you just open the door for competition to come in for a healthy profit.

Lets see some buyout numbers where a premium is paid to shareholders after debt is assumed.

Longs should ignore the shorts and take advantage of the low SP to load up. Taking time to accept the proper offer is a good thing. We aren't all impatient twits like the shorts on this board. Once the deal happens the shorts will be crushed and that noise will go away.
