That would make sense if 100% of shareholders voted, and they NEVER do.  So the deal is already dead, and you can all but read that in the press release.  A realistic number voting would be 60-70% of the total outstanding shares, which means Smoothwater votes will result in a negative vote of at least 25%.

So its done, its over.  The only hope for MQL is the Riddell gang riding to the rescue, but since they let Perpetual blow up, and thats with family, not likely here.

The world changed, junior oil and gas has died, and bank lending to oil and gas has changed forever.
