They didn't say they invested in Concordia explicitly but they still have interest in AMOc. Therefore, they probably still have their 20% of Concordia share.s
Concordia has not paid for AMCo. That is why it is still listed as a Cinven investment. I have been watching this unfold for a while now. The short thesis was very strong when I bought at 22 bucks - and I completely missed it. I took the companys statements at face value and have lost big time!
The interest in Cinven stems from potential reverse takeover. Do the math - get rid of the high interest debt and you have a solid company with plain sailing ahead............
Is the short thesis still compelling at these multiples.... I dont know. Decisions have to be made as we get into the tax selling season.
