First possibility is the secured note holders taking the company private. Diminished EBITA and a missed AMCo payment in February will trigger restructuring.
Second is a tax inversion target - probably from a US suitor. Concordia has a single digit blended overall corporate tax rate with offices in Canada and Barbados.
I would wait until you see significant insider buying before taking a position in this company. Outcome 2 could work out fairly well - Until the situation clears you are gambling.
Excellent! That's what I was looking for. The "adjusted EBITDA" flurry numbers don't attract my bull but a possible "tax investion target" might. How exactly could come out fairly well for shareholders? What are you valuing the assets and debt to be?
And is any real pharma wanting these legacy, out of patent protection, old portfolio?
The new lauches aren't secret. It's just reformulation and generic swaps which is Amco's claim to fame, no?
