RE:CAD dollar has disconnected from oilThe Canadian dollar is strong, however the USD is stronger and has been on a run in recent weeks.  Hence the drop in the price of gold which correlates.  I think the dollar has topped out here however so should retrace a bit adding some strength to the CDN.  Cheers
