RE:RE: OEMs to recover and recycle 95% of their EVsRepurposing lithium ion batteries for grid storage once they reach end of usually life is only being done on an experiment scale, and most like because the automakers doing it, don't have a Gigafactory of their own, YET.  Enter Tesla and AMY patent pending cathode recycling technology which can easily be built into Gigafactory 1 currently under construction by Tesla and Panasonic.  They have already said they plan to have a circular economy with their battery tech.  Read for yourself.
