First you seem to think the chip which is a Bluetooth chip can have wifi functions when they have never said the chip has wifi capability. So basically you're just making stuff up. Secondly Bluetooth is very low power. Far lower than wifi could ever be. So there's no need for that patent. Third wifi delivers crisper audio? LOL. Can you point me to any material that makes that claim.
I am saying regardless whether Bluetooth or wifi functions. The patent covers all RF signals.
If it is only blue tooth then the patent applies
Bluetooth surely is very low power. But possibly not Low enough for the battery life they wanted to achieve especially with all the functions they want the pods to perform. (Here's an example, Bluetooth speakers/headphones May last a couple/few hours on a single charge).
And the wifi crisper audio reference was a rumor as I stated..
another coincidence is that YFI had been saying they had been gearing up for Q2 revenue. But since we saw the financials they didn't produce any numbers. Coincidence being that the Airpods got delayed from October release (which would of showed on our financials) to now being possibly on Q1 of 2017
im not saying this is all fact and true but it's my DD and they are connections and points I believe could be true. Time will tell
