If the stories are true, then in my view, tech billionaire Peter Thiel and Jared Kushner (president Trump's son-in-law) are not the right persons qualified to give president Trump any advice on patent system issue.

Their suggestions to retain or re-nominate Michelle Lee as USPTO director (if true) clearly show that they have no idea how badly the patent system has been damaged by Obama's antipatent reform. Peter Theil himself is a "Patent reform" supporter as i know, no wonder he wants Lee to stay.

Having a strong patent sytem is so crucial for President Trump's "make America great again". Don't screw up it.
