RE:Insider Speculation vs Blackout periodsIt may be the case that some feel that insiders have knowledge of information that has not been made public. If they buy or sell on such "insider" knowledge, they are subject to investigations, fines and/or worse.
I like to see insider buying in shares I own as it can indicate confidence in their company and, in many cases, a better understanding of the potential for future rewards.Of course the reverse generally holds true for insider selling.
