Garth

GarthAmazed, but maybe I missed it as there were so many posts on here earlier but Garths appearance on Frank Curzio's podcast (something I am new to here in the UK) really got to me. As stated in some previous posts, I am 22 years old, and spotted Blackbird off the back of research on Katusa's website and the fact I am about to graduate with a degree in Geology.

What Garth has done is phenomenal, he is one of the only business men I have researched into in the energy sector who will put his hands up and say all his sucess is down to the fact he has a solid team of geologists and engineers behind him. This makes me think he truly is in it for the long run as although he takes credit for stage, he always promotes the team around him as the underlying factor for BBI's sucess so far. People (we all know who) saying Garth is in this for his own sucess, to me are so far from the truth its ridiculous. What BBI are sitting on, IF it is like the Permian Gas Plays of NA and the EU, then he could be sitting on a resource dubbed to be the next North Sea.

Furthering this, STAGE could be the real game changer, in a dya and age where cost is the main factor for any project, Garth and BBI in theory could undermine a lot of Apache and Encana's contract sbased on his ability to cut costs in a way they cannot of yet. Obviously I am not saying BBI is going to be the next BP or Shell but they are in a very good position to create a big name for themselves in the years to come. My final point as well would be that if a buyout was on the cards, and if production is as good as we hope, $1 to $1.50 will not be enough for the team at BBI to sell. I think we would be looking at an offer of $2+ based on its position and the continuing confidence in the Montney as a serious player in the years to come. I am expecting some of you to say i'm crazy but being from the UK and learning about the Permian (currently writing a report on it) I really do think it will be the next major player. Especially as sources of fuel e.g. the Tar Sands become more and more frowned upon..... GLTA :)
