My take on the whole financing is that someone told GB that he needed to grow the company to a more meaningful size in order to be of interest as a take-out. Pure spec on my part tho

Yes BBI would be an excellent buy in the 40s, but when you're a long term shareholder already heavily invested, that is not a consolation, it just adds insult to injury.
