I've seen it happen at a production plant before where people who normally work in the offices are sent out on the floor to help after a machine broke down and the product had to be sorted by hand, with not enough regular staff to handle it. Sort of makes sense because when they were still waiting for license, they were a lot more communicative. Now that they have a license and started sales, they started getting really quiet. So maybe they don't want to promote themselves until they can get enough staff to keep up with current demand.
