What would make this an economic project is Coro has bought the Ivan plant at a fraction of the startup capital costs providing a significant opportunity to fast track production from the Marimaca deposit with minimal capital expenditure. Chile is very mining friendly and is the largest copper producing country in the world. The hope will be for a major miner to acquire it at 50 cents or better giving the shareholders a 4-bagger quantum return. Greenstone could walk away with more than $100 million tax-free (it is domiciled in Jersey, Channel Islands) for its limited partners.
