RE:Thank you Debra Fine and Fine Capital for noticing DHX Media1 more article ___________________ Debra Fine, Founder and President of Fine Capital Partners, is on stage touting kids programming company DHX Media (Canada:DHX.B), a Canadian company that buys old kids brands like the Teletubbies and retool them for modern times. Fine argues that children's content doesn't age, unlike adult shows, which almost immediately feel dated. For that reason, kids content "doesn't age," Fine says. "It's value persists."That's helped by parents direct kids to the shows that they used to watch, as well as new group of 4-year olds who's always ready to discover the shows. Why is DHX undervalued? Because of advertising limits, profits on kids shows were capped. But in digital world, price of content will go up, Fine says. New buyers need children's content and bidding up prices. For subscription services like NetFlix (NFLX), good kids' content "reduces churn," Fine says. Fine says stock could trade as high as $30, and calls it "way way under valued."
