RE:RE:Fairfax's cost per share for BBRY actually $12.30Or inflation against the interest he is collecting, but that is not the point at all either.
I usually post these articles so that it creates a healthy discussion which is exactly what has happened. That makes me almost as happy as todays run. Looks like the shorts that are left are running for the exits if they have any sense.
BlackBerry has been transformed and anyone shorting the stock has obviously not been paying much attention.
Go long and wait 24 months and todays run up will just be the start.
Prem and many others here were a little early when we invested, but we all saw the potential BlackBerry had if it could strip away the non-essential businesses it was in and streamline itself into a Software and Security firm. Well, we're finally seeing the transition taking form and gaining real traction. BlackBerry is going to be a big winner in the cyber-security space as businesses and governments and essential services see more and more attacks that disrupt business and potentially cost lives.
Go long BBRY or BB and sit back and enjoy the ride. This is just the start as we continue to see BlackBerry's initiatives gain more and more traction.
Great points and breakdown as usual Yasch, not much gets missed by you!
