BMO increased target to $5.20

BMO increased target to $5.20 Analyst Actions: ECN Capital Target Price Raised to $5.20 at BMO Capital; Reaffirmed with Outperform MT Newswires 09:31 AM EDT, 06/09/2017 (MT Newswires) -- ECN Capital (ECN.TO) has been issued a higher target price of $5.20 by BMO Capital while keeping an outperform rating. BMO said an improving ROE over the next several years for ECN could potentially drive a higher valuation multiple. Assuming the ROE moves to the 8% - 10% range, which could very well happen as ECN transitions from a balance sheet lender to asset manager and redeploys excess capital, the broker believes the P/BV multiple could increase to 1.0-1.4x over the next couple of years. BMO increased its operating EPS forecasts to $0.17 for 2017 and to $0.28 for 2018.
