RE:Contacting WEED Aph OGI EMH about RTI Copy of email being sent to WEED APH OGI EMH in regards to RTI and i will post their responses. Obviously company name in each email will be altered.
Hello
Ive been a shareholder in aphria now for the past year and I’m very happy with the direction and steps the company has taken through the past year and i look forward to the near future that awaits us as well.
I do have some questions about Aphria’s current methods of oil extraction and what future plans for that may be.
Currently from what I understand, Aphria is using the latest conventional methods of CO2 extraction right now. Up till now this is great however I admit that I’m currently blown away by the results and independent 3rd party confirmations now that Radiant Technologies has received from their trial which was conducted with Aurora.
Im sure you are aware of these results as well.
Key findings:
- Consistently high extraction efficiencies of up to 98% (quantitative recovery) were observed compared to 80 - 85% typical for conventional technologies;
- Exceptionally short processing times of as little as five minutes were achieved, as compared to approximately 6 hours for currently used commercial technologies;
- Consistently high purity levels were observed for the extracts produced, at least on par with those achieved using conventional methods;
- The research data indicate that throughputs in excess of 1,500 kg per day can potentially be achieved using Radient's proprietary large-scale continuous-flow MAP™ extractor, many times higher than what can be achieved using conventional methods;
- Replication of this technology in other jurisdictions on a larger or smaller scale is feasible;
- Extract profiles obtained during the project show near full preservation of cannabinoid and terpene profiles in the extracts.
(Taken from ACB and RTI’s joint news release)
Obviously, the ability to accomplish all of these would give anyone a significant market advantage. I’m wondering if the management team at Aphria are as impressed by these results as the rest of the general public seem to be, and i would really appreciate some form of statement in response to these results.
Im obviously not asking anyone to divulge an inside information, but I would like to know Aphrias impression now of Radiants ability to essentially accomplish in as little as 5 minutes, what takes Aphrias current methods 5 hours to match.
Thank you for your time

Obviously they can't say if they're sniffing around RTI themselves but im quite curious to know the thoughts of some of these people in regards to just how significant RTI's accomplishment is
