RE:RE:RE:ImpatienceYou sound very confident in your belief that doom is just around the corner. I can't make that assessment because OTT is just in its infancy. Nobody has yet been able to turn a profit from it. Converting visitors to paid subscriptions is the challenge. Chances seem to be good that OTT will remain a necessary although unprofitable aspect (evil) of media distribution for quite some time in which case it comes down to cost. Since NLN's market is colleges, universities and less than mainstream events I feel they can prosper in their corner of the market. Cable TV is also catching up and because OTT is a money pit they appear to be progressing toward 3rd party services like the NLN/Sportsnet arrangement in order to cost effectively compete. Traditional broadcasters and rights holders also abound globally, they are not throwing up their arms in submission to OTT and since OTT is not the first choice of viewers price and expediency are important, hence positioning NLN quite nicely.
