Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

RE:RE:RE:RE:Let's put it this wayIn total agreement.  Insider purchases with their own cash is not something to sneer at.
So few can bring themselves to actually do it when markets collapse.  On top of that, PC
takes no salary and lives off his dividend income.  Would the CPG's and BTE"S etc. etc
only do this as well, lol.  That would never happen as why risk your own money when
your compensation package of salary,  cheap stock options and other outlandish perks
at investors expense,  is just too easy to take.  It's just a disgusting and insulting display
of unfettered corporate greed.  The compensation packages are not even tied to performance
metrics in most cases.   Yet to hear mgmt defend their pay,  one would think they are the
smartest geniuses in the world and deserving of every nickle they get.  In fact investors are
getting their brains and skills for a bargain so don't complain.   The standard line pandered
to the public is excuses like they have no control over markets so we, meaning you, will just
have to wait until markets recover.  Brilliant.
