Agreed.  I recall some while ago that goldminer01 commented that past evidence supports that the vast number of takerover bids are accepted if the offer is circa 40% above market value.

Using this metric, an offer above C$6.16 today, would have a high probability of succeeding. 

The point is also acknowledged that institutional shareholders have a fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders and they could be deemed to be irresponsible if they reject a Circa 40% premium for the benefit of their shareholders.

It is not the responsibility of institutional shareholders to give managment a free pass for not living up to investors expectations.
