RE:RE:RE:History Proves Hey Brandy, I'm referring to the last minute downticks below asking almost daily at closing bell. Volume is never more than 5000 shares, and closing down a cent or two brings down the average price of MTO over the course of the 200 DMA. This DMA is usually what takeover prices are based off of for the premium, therefore to spend a few hundred a day to lower the price of a takeover worth $75 million takeover is definitely worth it.
It's all too easy for the right people to do this to save themselves the difference between a 1.00 vs a 1.20 takeover bid. That is a 20% difference, and millions of dollars. Its the greasy vulture exchange at it's finest. Temex resources saw this same trading patter for at least 6 months prior to the first takeover bid.
