The Cancellation

The Cancellationof 36B of LNG project by Petronas should have every Cdn up in arms but instead like the sad little country we are, very little outcry has been expressed. The various stakeholders, Federal, Provincial and First Nations have all been fighting for years to grab as much as they can from the project and each other and now it's over. They get nothing. Absolutely disgraceful to let this go. Remember the fight to keep Bombardier going, or the auto jobs but not a word of regret about losing LNG. Those jobs don't count and are not important to this country or it's future so forget about it! What kind of country and what kind of leadership does things like that? Answer........only Canada. Our future lies in eco tourism, fast food outlets and a struggling healthcare system that all serve the needs of a country with a lopsided retired population. Well how long is that going to last without good paying jobs and industries which can supply them?
