RE:RE:An enlightenmentBut that's just the point, it wasn't a well-known company. It's not even an existent small poorly known company with a credible record but just a paper tiger newly created with a smashing name that allowed for a smashing-sounding news release. If it were a well known company I would be suspicious because of Star's record but I would certainly have to withhold criticism and admit that it was a potential positive.
My opinion is not unbiased. I have cetainly expressed my negative attitude towards Star but think that it is based on sound reasons. That bias could be altered if developments around the company dramatcally changed but for me for now that would be a dubious expectation.
As for never posting anything positive, it seems that that should be considered reasonable given all of the sentiments I have expressed over postings and is consistent with my real and honest thoughts. If I saw something positive I would mention it.
Listen, the company is doing what it can to survive. Right now that means getting funding. The CEO is fighting and scratching and clawing furiously to make it happen. My postings havn't been intended as an attack on the company so much as a counter to the dreamers and pumpers who were dominating the board. If I'm fighting with pumpers who put out nothing but unquestioning positives then of course I will come across as negative. And obviously upset and anger some people along the way. But it does make for a more interesting board.
Anyway, if you think you have solid reasons for your faith in Star why would you be upset instead of just entertained by an idiot spouting off?
