RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Takeover offer coming....IMHO...

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Takeover offer coming....IMHO...Yes true: I understand the Klondex strategy of cornerstone asset (Fire Creek) + acquire existing properties + build portfolio.

Neil Woodyer did this with Endeavour Mining before he retired from Endeavour in 2016 and built a serious portfolio of mines. Now he wants to do the same with Leagold (LMC.T) starting with Los Filos as Leagold's cornerstone asset. Endeavour is beautiful, but there is geographical risk.

The approach works, but Klondex needs to seriously then focus on exploration, drilling and RESERVE REPLACEMENT if it thinks to become a major midtier producing over 400 K oz.

I am sure for 2018 they can hit 280 K - 300 K oz. but will need more if they want to become a major midtier. OR they are bought out outright before they can with an offer they can't refuse.

I also would gladly take a 50% buyout right now but I do not think mangement would. I believe they think a buyout should be a premium off the 52week max. I know a few of the execs its possible they are just great salesman and would take a 50% premium off todays price but it doesn't sound like it if you listen to them talk. They think this is headed to be the next big mid tier and eventually major.
