The patients have non muscle invasive baldder cancer not muscle invasive where the cancer threatens to spread to other parts of the body and is then considered lethal.

I think you have it wrong when you state the patients enrolled in this trial are unfit to have their bladders removed thus suggesting it's either try the TLT treatment or surely die. They in fact still have the option of having their bladder removed if the treatment doesn't work.
