RE:why quebec does not and may never matter to pprhahaha dude GTFO of here. That stuff is old, this is 2017 actuall were already in 2018 if you understand hwo pricing works. Are you familiar with what time means? the indefinite continued progress of existence and events.... things change... dont they? You cant be a good investor if you cant adapt.
Questerre and Altai have appreciated 100s of percent. While PPR has continued downtrend altthough its oil operations are lookng more attractive for every day, its operational track record as a new company is de-risking the share as we speak. It is valued to 1,5x 2018 cash flow, if not even lower as they succeed in the Wheatlands with great drillign results. If oil market continues like this, this stocks is very attractive.
I wrote a novel earlier on this forum, re Quebec. Development of GAS and condensates will happen. They have 240k NET acres, there will be significant areas where PPR can develop gas even if final regs come in stricter with regards to distances. Regulations are coming, latest 6 November. Today, the stock reflects 0 value from that porential. FACT. It is 6000bbl/day and growing, oil market strengthening and mega upside to oil business. This company is a gift.
PPR management has been very careful and delicate in their communication with regards to their accreage position in Quebec. They dont want to Jinx it. They want it priced in when green light is confirmed. Now we are days/weeks from seing the final version. De-risking of quebec in the share is inevitable, as we approach final date investors will start buying more.
