Yes, its not a competing system. It was designed mainly for Air Trafic Control purposes. There is a small overlap in capability with Flyht But it does not address the new ICAO mandates or do data monitoring, processing and streaming or give situational awareness. It just seems to me a lot of money to spend to put equipment on the new satellites being launched to achieve a capability that already exists elsewhere by other means.
