RE:RE:One more day of selling and Ellen .........The NR's were rushed because word was leaking out from the drill site. Even a bit of a stumble with the initial NR and then the need for a clarification.
In addition to the work in managing the drill program, with one of the team away due to illness, add in all the phone calls and texts and e-mails that inundated the office.
Now everyone wants a slick presentation, probably a revamped website, extra drills, extra geologists extra everything....but most of all...KEEP THE DILUTION TO A MINIMUM.
All this In the midst of the correction due on GGI, MTS, etc and the onset of unsafe work conditions in the mountains, and the end of their drill programs for the season.
(Which by the way are plugging up all the assay labs at this time of the year in B.C. and delaying NNA results).
Now some people are looking for news every day to satisfy a soft tone in the share price which is mostly due to the above mentioned factors.
Ellen SAID mid December, or so, and that's that.
Did that statement encourage profit taking and entice some short sellers to ride along?
Maybe. Maybe not.
The CEO of any company has no control over the BUY/Sell behaviour of the shareholders.
They can only run their Company the way they see fit, and let the published results of their efforts speak to the shareholders.
So far so good the way I see it.
Back in the day, 99% of the Howe Street gang would have been in on this before any one of the great unwashed public (that's us, by the way) smelled a whiff.
Now the playing field is more level.
Three weeks ago the NNA team let all of us know to be careful of how we treat our ownership going forward, and followed up with pictures. Kudos to them.
The fact that some of the long standing prior shareholders let a portion of the float get into 'less than supportive hands' (read 'weak') is NOT Ellen's or her team's problem. They haven't let anything of consequence go, other than what we know about Mr. Huck's situation and his personal reasons for relinquishing a tiny bit of shares.
(let me add that I'm very happy that Ellen was able to execute this dramatic discovery in time for Mr. Huck to hopefully afford the treatment he needs. I can only wish that some of my additional ownership throughout the last recent period helped support the valuation that allowed him to potentially pay the freight bill needed).
It's still early in the first period, and it's always nice to come out strong and be 3-0 after the first 5 minutes. The fact that 'they' slipped a screened shot into the net to make it interesting is just that, interesting.
There's a whole game to be played here, and I'm just now getting comfortable in my seat.
And here's one for you:
NNA doubles from here before Bitcoin does.
Or any of the other cryptocrap out there.
