Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

WTI crude to hit $65 and BTE to hit $5 this coming week

People, the more I research the impact of the shutdown of the Keystone pipeling to Steel City, restricting all Canadian Pipeline crude from reaching Cushing, OK, the more I think we'll see a massive spike in oil this week about API and EIA numbers are released.

Here is a map of the pipeline. This is like having a single highway between two countries and a landslide takes it out! There are no real alternate paths available today! Enbridge has some pipeline capacity but most of it is within Canada.

This is THE Canadian-US pipeline. THE one that create the US glut starting 2010 and coming to roost in 2014! Hold on to you hats people! Wall Street is in fact sleeping at the wheel! Too much ThanksGiving Turkey this long weekend!
