"The doctor or chiropractor" was just a duplicate sentence fragment that didn't get erased before the message was posted.
I'm not in the medical field, but I am an engineer used to dotting the "I"s and crossing the "t"s, the often slow pace of serious scientific trials, and the need for restraint when counting potential revenues from each in vitro study success...I also have my MBA in International Business with both Management and Marketing majors, some engineering background with lasers, and I've been an all-too-frequent consumer of healthcare services the last decade or so.
I did my DD for several years on stem cells and the competing procedures before choosing that route in 2016 rather than have the total knee replacement that had been recommended by orthopedic surgeons since 2009...stem cell procedures are not standard of care but experimental medicine, so they are not covered by insurance...l chose the Regenexx procedures over all others...not everyone can benefit, so there is a screening process that I was able to pass...I'm living pain free almost everyday now.
